Housing Officer – Luxury Residential

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional housing services and making a meaningful difference in residents' lives? We’re recruiting a Housing Officer to join a supportive team managing six beautifully maintained, high end residential sites for over 200 residents, including leaseholders. This is a private residential setting offering luxury accommodation. We’re specifically looking for candidates with high end property management experience. You’ll play a key part in improving operational processes, supporting residents, and ensuring services run smoothly and effectively in a hands on and varied role.

The Role
  • Coordinate the resident application process, including interviews, paperwork, due diligence, and inductions
  • Provide clear guidance to residents in line with housing policies and procedures
  • Liaise with local authorities and Welfare Advisors to support benefit recovery
  • Communicate with residents, their families, and external agencies with empathy and professionalism
  • Support safeguarding by being observant and raising any concerns appropriately
  • Administer commercial lets: draft tenancy agreements, coordinate repairs, and manage inventories
  •  Manage the voids process, ensuring turnaround times meet agreed SLAs
  • Housing Operations
  • Provide administrative support to the Housing Team: manage diaries, maintain records, and keep systems up to date
  • Attend Housing Committee meetings where needed and assist in drafting reports and analysing data
  • Work closely with the Charity Finance Team to support rent collection, invoice processing, and expense management
  • Organise the rent verification process and make purchases in line with internal policies
  • Ensure housing records are GDPR-compliant and aligned with company policy
  • Carry out bi-annual property inspections and inventories
  • Provide ad-hoc support to Housing related projects

The Person
  • Experience working in private residential housing or high-end property management
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach
  • Flexible, hands-on, and comfortable working across different sites
  • Passion for delivering premium, resident-focused services
