Are you a proactive and eager HR professional who thrives on supporting projects and keeping operations running smoothly? My client is seeking a dynamic HR Coordinator to join their team and partner with the HR Director on a 15-month fixed-term contract.

You will collaborate directly with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, lead key HR initiatives—from recruitment and payroll to learning and development and contribute ideas to process improvements and new projects.
The Role:
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Draft and post job adverts, shortlist candidates, and coordinate interviews
  • Prepare and send offer letters, contracts, and complete due diligence
  • Facilitate orientation and onboarding paperwork for new hires
Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Support initiatives to boost employee satisfaction and engagement
  • Assist with conflict resolution and HR policy queries
  • Update job descriptions and maintain the quarterly organisation chart
HR Administration & Compliance
  • File and manage confidential records in line with GDPR
  • Keep the HR hub and bulletin current and informative
  • Support probation reviews and performance development processes
Payroll Administration
  • Process payroll changes and star-leaver paperwork for approval
  • Maintain IRIS Cascade HR database and generate management reports
  • Assist with year-end returns (P11D, PAYE data)
Learning & Development
  • Research, book, and record training sessions in Cascade
  • Track compliance training and support “lunch & learn” events
  • Coordinate and monitor Apprenticeship Programmes and wellbeing initiatives
The Person:
  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
  • Proven HR administrative experience in a professional environment
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and payroll processes
  • Hands-on experience with HR software (preferably IRIS Cascade)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication; creative client-service approach
  • Proactive mindset, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
