THE ROLE:
The Professional Conduct Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Professional Conduct Department. Responsibilities include assisting with data protection and Freedom of Information requests, investigating complaints, and providing administrative support to case managers and disciplinary solicitors. The role also involves liaising with witnesses, corresponding with complainants, and collating statistics for annual publications. This position requires a meticulous approach to data entry and document handling, ensuring smooth operations within the department.
This is a part-time position, Tuesday through Thursday, and would require one day per week in the office.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate will possess a clear, logical, and practical approach to problem-solving. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in IT applications such as Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe. An excellent telephone manner and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are crucial. Organisational and people skills are a must, and experience in complaint handling, data protection, or working for a regulatory authority is highly desirable. A background in business administration or a secretarial capacity would be advantageous.
