THE ROLE: The Professional Conduct Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Professional Conduct Department. Responsibilities include assisting in the investigation of complaints, managing telephone enquiries, supporting case managers and disciplinary solicitors, liaising with witnesses, and corresponding with complainants and professionals. Additionally, the role involves updating the professional conduct website and assisting in the preparation of reports and statistics.

THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will possess a clear, concise, logical, and practical approach to issues, with the ability to understand complex problems and devise solutions. Excellent writing and drafting skills are essential, alongside proficiency in IT skills, including database management and Microsoft Office Suite. An excellent telephone manner and the ability to work as part of a team are crucial. Resilience and experience in complaint handling or working for a regulatory authority are highly desirable. A qualification in business administration or a secretarial capacity would be advantageous.
