The role offers a broad range of responsibilities across management accounts, payroll, compliance, credit control, and accounts payable — making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and taking ownership of key finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including reconciliations and assisting with financial reporting.
- Manage and process payroll operations, ensuring payments are accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant legislation.
- Oversee onboarding and compliance documentation for new hires or contractors, ensuring all information is verified and compliant with regional requirements.
- Monitor outstanding invoices, follow up on overdue accounts, and maintain professional relationships to support healthy cash flow.
- Handle accounts payable, including processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and ensuring prompt, policy-aligned payments.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, identifying opportunities to streamline processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights that support decision-making and business performance.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, data analysis, and other finance-related documentation as required.
About You
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role covering payroll, accounts payable, and credit control.
- Graduate within a business dicipline, or AAT qualified
- Understanding of management accounting principles and reconciliations.
- Confident using accounting and reporting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with great attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
- Awareness of financial compliance standards and best practices.
