Procurement Administrator
West End, London

Up to £35,000 DOE 

We are seeking a Procurement Administrator with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in UK construction procurement.
This is an office-based role in Central London, ideal for candidates who have previously worked for a main contractor or residential developer on concrete frame or high-density projects.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely procurement across a diverse portfolio of active developments.

About the Company
They are a London-based property development and construction firm delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects.
Their in-house construction team specialises in reinforced concrete buildings and manages a wide range of trades and materials, maintaining direct control over quality, cost, and delivery throughout the build process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage procurement schedules aligned with construction programmes.
  • Coordinate closely with site teams to track deliveries and ensure timely arrival of materials.
  • Verify deliveries against orders, addressing discrepancies promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with UK and international suppliers, ensuring reliable supply chains.
  • Maintain detailed procurement records and documentation for all materials and suppliers.
  • Support overall site operations through proactive material planning and supply chain risk management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in construction procurement, ideally involving materials for concrete structures, ready-mix concrete, rebar, formwork, cladding systems, and general build materials.
  • Strong understanding of procurement programming and supply chain coordination, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (essential).
  • Familiarity with digital procurement or project management tools.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
