User-Centred Design Specialist
London
£40,000 – £45,000

We’re partnering with a forward thinking organisation that is looking to add a User-Centred Design Specialist to their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative environment where design is at the heart of product development, and where your ideas will directly influence the user experience.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll work across the full design lifecycle – from research and ideation through to prototyping and delivery. Partnering with product managers, developers, and fellow designers, you’ll create intuitive, accessible, and user-focused solutions that bring digital products to life. You’ll also have the chance to shape design systems, contribute to strategy, and ensure the voice of the user is always front and centre.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into design concepts.
  • Develop wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design intent.
  • Conduct and apply user research insights to inform decisions.
  • Iterate rapidly on ideas based on feedback, analytics, and testing.
  • Champion design consistency by contributing to and evolving design systems.
  • Present and explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Balance user needs with business goals and technical feasibility.
About You
  • Eperience in UX or product design, ideally in a digital-first or in-house environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design and end-to-end project delivery.
  • Proficiency with Figma (or similar tools) and confidence working with modern design platforms.
  • Good understanding of accessibility standards and UX best practices.
  • Strong communicator who can clearly articulate design thinking and rationale.
  • Collaborative, curious, and confident challenging assumptions where necessary.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving user experiences.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and who wants the opportunity to make a genuine impact on both the product and its users. Apply today to bring your creativity, critical thinking, and design expertise to a team that values user centred innovation.
