User Experience Designer
London
£45,000 - £50,000

We are looking for a User Experience Designer to join a growing in-house Design team. This is a hands-on design role where you’ll transform insights from the Research team into engaging, user-friendly digital experiences. You’ll play a key part in shaping interfaces and journeys that are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with user needs and business goals.

The ideal candidate will bring 2–3 years’ UX design experience in an in-house environment (not agency), a stable career track record, and the ability to think critically and communicate ideas clearly. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with UI Designers, UX Researchers, and Analysts to deliver effective design solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate user research and data insights into wireframes, prototypes, and final design solutions.
  • Collaborate with UX Researchers, UI Designers, and stakeholders to refine user journeys and workflows.
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
  • Create design documentation to support development and implementation.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and align with brand guidelines.
  • Present and explain design decisions to peers and stakeholders, demonstrating critical thinking and openness to feedback.
  • Contribute to design team discussions, supporting a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a UX design role, ideally in an in-house environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects (concept through to implementation).
  • Solid knowledge of design principles, interaction design, and user-centred methodologies.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to articulate design decisions.
  • Critical thinker – able to challenge assumptions
  • Stable employment history, with clear reasons for any short-term roles (contract, redundancy, etc.)
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with designers, researchers, and analysts.
