£45,000 + annual bonus

My client, a global trade representative body, is looking for an experienced Membership Development Manager to drive growth by recruiting new members from warm leads and existing sales pipeline.
You will have proven experience of B2B sales within a Membership organisation, with the ability to engage in business conversations at CEO level ranging from SME’s to large corporate companies.

The Role:
- Recruit new members from existing sales pipelines and warm leads
- Work towards a goal of increasing members from 850 to 1,000 by 2025
- Develop and maintain strong relationships and ensure that member satisfaction is maximized to increase retention rates
- Support regional engagement strategy, including facilitating networking events regionally.
- Help develop engagement campaigns that generate leads
- Maximize members’ usage of products and services, including participation in relevant committees, project groups and events
- Support other projects as required
- Experience of B2B sales in a membership environment
- Evidence of having business conversations at C-Suite level across both small and large corporate accounts
- Experience of selling membership packages and services
- Confidence and credible in dealing with senior stakeholders
- Highly target orientated with a clear focus
- Adept networker, who is used to working a room and identifying mutually beneficial connections
- Creative and innovative with the ability to work under pressure and meet targets – able to step up to the challenge when required
