HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR EMPLOYER BRAND

15.03.2018

When people are deciding upon which company they would like to work for, one thing that they will want to take into account, consciously or not, is your employer brand. With this being true, you should do everything you can to promote and improve the brand in the best possible way. So how can you start promoting your brand to employees:

Make the stories of your employees’ public

If people feel as though they are able to relate to people who already work for you, they may be more likely to consider working for you themselves. For this reason, you should put together a collection of success stories about how current employees have worked their way along their career path with you to date. This can help to improve your company image a lot.

Put emphasis on open communication

Engaging your employees in the brand that you are trying to create can help to spread a positive image, and with this in mind, you should always try to communicate as positively as possible. If an employee is engaged, they are more likely to promote your brand to the people who are likely to apply for roles in the future, so this is a positive step to take.

Make the most of social media

Social media is one of the best ways to spread the message of your brand across a wide audience, and for this reason you should do everything you can to make the most of the platforms available. Many companies have social media managers as roles within the business to focus on this alone, and this can be a great investment. As a part of your postings on social media, images can be hugely powerful, as this can give exactly the right message.

Claim your space in the industry

In order to be a successful business, you will need to find a space in the industry and then fill it as much as you can. With this in mind, you should create as much relevant content as possible, which portrays your brand, and use this content to really cement your place within the industry.
