About the Role In this important position, you will provide advice, assess complex issues, and support individuals with clarity and confidence. You’ll work across the organisation to ensure enquiries are handled promptly, professionally and in line with established standards. Your work will have a direct impact on member experience and the smooth functioning of the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert advice to members, drawing on your legal knowledge and training.
  • Analyse complex issues, identify key risks, and propose practical, fair solutions.
  • Provide clear, concise and accurate written guidance and documentation.
  • Respond to member enquiries promptly via phone, email and digital channels.
  • Maintain detailed and well‑organised records, ensuring compliance with internal processes.
  • Support internal teams with standards‑related queries and casework.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of advice processes and operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience Required
  • A legal qualification or formal legal training.
  • Strong ability to understand complex problems and think through solutions logically.
  • A compassionate, customer‑focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Clear, concise and practical communication style.
  • Exceptional organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent drafting and writing ability.
  • Strong IT proficiency and confidence using digital systems.
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to support people in a professional, reassuring way.
