Position Overview
The Float Team Assistant provides high-level administrative and organisational support across multiple teams within the investment bank. This role requires a highly adaptable individual who can seamlessly transition between different departments, managing competing priorities and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, professional environment.

This is a permanent Float position, with no plans to transition into a role within a specific team in the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to bankers and teams on a rotational basis, including diary management, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and expense processing
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring professional and efficient communication
  • Prepare, edit, and format documents, presentations, and reports to a high standard
  • Manage and prioritise multiple tasks across different teams with varying deadlines
  • Support coordination of client meetings, travel, and internal events.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to compliance policies at all times
  • Management of expenses using the Concur system
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Team Assistant, or Personal Assistant within financial services or investment banking
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and polished demeanour
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High level of discretion, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt quickly to changing team needs
