We are partnering with a well-established London-based business to recruit an experienced and professional Receptionist & Administrative Assistant to join their team on an immediate basis.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors while providing essential administrative support across the wider business.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities, with a friendly and professional approach.

Key Responsibilities
Reception & Front of House
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains welcoming, tidy and professional.
- Meet and greet visitors, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Answer incoming calls, take accurate messages and respond to enquiries appropriately.
- Arrange courier collections, taxis and external meetings.
- Book meeting rooms and assist with resolving scheduling clashes.
- Organise refreshments and catering for meetings and internal sessions.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and parcels.
- Ensure communal office spaces are maintained to a high standard.
- Provide general administrative support to colleagues across the business.
- Maintain and update contact lists, databases and telephone directories.
- Assist with recruitment administration, including arranging interviews and communicating with unsuccessful first-stage candidates.
- Support the organisation of internal events, team activities and social initiatives.
- Arrange travel and accommodation bookings.
- Assist with archiving, document management and confidential shredding.
- Prepare and format documents, letters, minutes and reports.
- Undertake photocopying, printing, binding and general document production.
- Monitor stationery and office supplies, ensuring consumables are regularly replenished.
- Maintain relevant training and development records.
- Provide occasional personal assistant support to senior colleagues.
- Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front of House or Administrative Support role.
- Immediate availability to start.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Friendly, approachable and professional.
- Highly organised, reliable and punctual.
- Proactive, with a positive, can-do attitude.
- A strong team player who is happy to support colleagues wherever needed.
- Comfortable managing a varied workload and adapting to changing priorities.
- Flexible and willing to work additional hours when required.
