We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven M&E White Collar Construction Recruitment Consultant to join our Liverpool Street based Client.
This role focuses on the recruitment of professional and technical white-collar staff within the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) construction sector, supporting contractors, consultancies, and developers across the UK.
You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, develop strong client relationships, and build a high-quality candidate network within the M&E white-collar market.

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven M&E White Collar Construction Recruitment Consultant to join our Liverpool Street based Client.
This role focuses on the recruitment of professional and technical white-collar staff within the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) construction sector, supporting contractors, consultancies, and developers across the UK.
You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, develop strong client relationships, and build a high-quality candidate network within the M&E white-collar market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage new and existing client relationships within the M&E construction sector
- Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term partnerships
- Conduct client meetings to understand hiring needs, project requirements, and timelines
- Negotiate fees, terms of business, and service agreements
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner and market expert to clients
- Source, screen, and place white-collar M&E professionals, including but not limited to:
- M&E Project Managers
- Contracts Managers
- Quantity Surveyors
- Design Managers
- Estimators
- Engineers (Mechanical & Electrical)
- Conduct in-depth candidate interviews and skills assessments
- Manage the recruitment process from initial brief through to offer and placement
- Provide interview preparation, offer management, and post-placement aftercare
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the M&E construction market, salary trends, and competitor activity
- Ensure compliance with all recruitment legislation, company processes, and data protection regulations
- Accurately maintain CRM records, candidate pipelines, and client activity
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant (construction experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of the M&E construction sector and white-collar roles (desirable)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation ability
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Established M&E client or candidate network
- Experience working in a 360 recruitment role
- Knowledge of UK construction regulations and project environments
