People & Culture Administrator

Location: Central London (hybrid working – minimum 3 days in the office)
Contract: Temporary | 4 days per week
Salary: £27,500 – £29,187

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive People & Culture Administrator to join a busy HR team. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys supporting the full employee lifecycle, delivering excellent customer service and contributing to the smooth running of people processes.

The Role

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will provide comprehensive HR administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll and compliance. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting managers and ensuring a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases
• Supporting recruitment activities, including job postings, screening applications and coordinating interviews
• Assisting managers with recruitment administration and best practice processes
• Managing onboarding and offboarding administration, including new starter documentation and exit procedures
• Processing Access to Work claims and other employee-related administration
• Supporting payroll processing and responding to employee benefit queries
• Providing HR administrative support for employee relations matters, including note-taking and preparing correspondence
• Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies and internal procedures
• Supporting the delivery of HR projects and process improvements
• Acting as a first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers

Essential:
• Previous experience in an HR administration or administrative support role
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills

Desirable:
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related subject
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
• Experience using HRIS systems
• Experience supporting HR projects and policy development
