Our commercial property client, based in central London, is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working junior salesperson to join their team as the principal researcher for new business. With a strong professional background and expertise in helping clients find the right office, they are now well-placed to bring their services to the attention of many more clients – it’s your job to find those new clients. You’ll be trained in the market and given a clear career path from this role as a researcher to the senior telesales caller and, potentially, onto Associate Director status within 5 years.

It’s your role to research the market for new clients, companies that are looking for a new office in London. Whether small companies or large, the services you offer can help them decide on the best location and size of office and, once decided, help them find the right space for their teams. You will be working on a database of contacts, qualifying which ones are ready to move and, for those not ready to move, making a note of when they might be ready in the future. Do that well and you’ll build yourself into a great role with plenty of room to progress.


The Sales Talent Matrix: Does this sound like you?

Knowledge: Ideally, 6-12 months’ telemarketing or telesales experience, preferably in a B2B telemarketing or telesales role making outbound calls, though strong candidates without experience are also welcome to apply as a full training programme will be provided; an interest in property is helpful but not 100% necessary.

Attitude: You should be hard-working, willing to learn, positive, enthusiastic, and happy to take responsibility for your own performance.

Skills: Good communication skills with a professional phone manner; strong verbal and written English (native level in both), good organisation skills. 

Habits: Punctual, hard-working and well presented. 


On offer is a salary of £23-25,000pa (depending on experience) with a commission structure giving on target earnings of £28-30,000pa in your first year. There is also a range of other employee benefits in this sociable company such as monthly social events (in normal times!) and a summer party.
