A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive and hands-on Workplace Coordinator to join a leading organisation in Watford/London. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied day, is comfortable with manual tasks, and takes pride in creating a smooth, well-run workplace environment. This is a temporary position until June, with the strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right person.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Workplace Operations
  • Carry out daily walkarounds, reporting faults and ensuring all areas are clean, organised and fully operational.
  • Conduct room and pod checks, BMS/alarm checks, and escalate issues to the HelpFM team.
  • Manage onsite contractors when required.
  • Support with general workplace tasks and maintenance reporting.
Event and Space Setup
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and flexible spaces.
  • Ensure all spaces are equipped with the correct furniture, technology, and refreshments.
  • Work closely with the Workplace Lead to meet event requirements.
  • Support with managing catering supplier invoices.
Meeting Room Coordination
  • Help organise and prepare 25+ meeting rooms, ensuring they are ready for the next day.
  • Review bookings to maximise room usage.
  • Provide basic AV support and troubleshoot equipment when needed.
Visitor and Access Support
  • Assist with managing QR codes for internal and external visitor access.
General Support
  • Provide lunchtime cover for the front desk team.
  • Assist with workplace projects and ad‑hoc tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For
  • Someone proactive, reliable, and happy to get stuck in.
  • Comfortable with manual lifting and physical tasks.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A friendly, professional manner and confidence working in a busy corporate environment.
  • Ability to commute to Watford five days per week
