The Opportunity

An established organisation is seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join its People & Culture team on a temporary, part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented HR professional to provide hands-on administrative support across HR systems, recruitment, onboarding and general people processes within a busy and collaborative environment.

• Uploading and maintaining employee information across integral systems, including learning platforms, intranet and internal calendars
• Ensuring HR processes are completed in a timely manner, issuing reminders to staff and managers as required
• Supporting recruitment processes, including coordinating interviews and preparing documentation
• Monitoring recruitment inboxes and responding appropriately

• Supporting job advertising and reviewing recruitment campaign effectiveness
• Assisting with onboarding and induction processes for new starters
• Processing and monitoring background checks, including right-to-work, references and DBS
• Supporting policy development through research and drafting basic policy documents
• Maintaining the annual leave system, calculating entitlements and ensuring policy compliance
• Assisting with invoice processing and payment tracking
• Supporting administration of employee benefits and related tax processes
• Creating and updating HR templates to standardise people and payroll processes
• Supporting the wider People & Culture team with additional administrative tasks as required

Essential:
• Previous experience in an HR administration role
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Knowledge of HR systems and people processes
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines
• Practical, logical approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Professional approach to confidentiality and data protection

Desirable:
• Familiarity with PeopleHR
• Experience using intranet platforms such as WordPress
• CIPD qualification or part-qualification
