About the Role

Construction Administrator
West End, London (5 days in office) 
Up to £32,000

We are seeking a Construction Administrator with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to support the administrative and coordination needs of a UK-based construction and development company.

This is an office-based role in Central London, ideal for someone with experience working for a main contractor or residential developer on new-build projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective management of operations across a growing portfolio of live developments.

About the Company
They are a London-based property developer and construction business delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects across the capital.
Their in-house construction team specialises in reinforced concrete structures and manages every stage of development — from design and compliance through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Systems and Platform Management
  • Oversee digital project management platforms such as Procore, ensuring schedules, submittals, and site reports are maintained accurately.
  • Coordinate communication between site teams, office staff, and external contractors to ensure up-to-date and accessible project information.
  • Develop onboarding materials and deliver training for new staff and subcontractors on key operational systems, such as Procore, Fixflo, and Pipefy.
2. Compliance and Stakeholder Coordination
  • Manage relationships and correspondence with Building Control, warranty providers, and local authorities, ensuring all projects meet regulatory requirements and approvals.
  • Act as the main contact for planning obligations, including employment and training plans, ensuring compliance and reporting throughout the build process.
3. Operational Support and Reporting
  • Serve as the first point of contact for operational queries from both site and office teams.
  • Maintain and update records for key site equipment, including Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM), ensuring compliance with local authority standards.
  • Prepare and present regular progress and performance reports to senior management, including KPI tracking and project forecasts.
4. External Liaison and Process Improvement
  • Liaise with external bodies on building safety and quality standards, coordinating site visits and inspections.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and enhance cost-efficiency through process reviews and adoption of new technologies.
Requirements
  • Proven background in the construction industry, ideally within residential or mixed-use development.
  • Strong experience in project coordination and operational planning, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel (essential).
  • Familiarity with digital construction tools — Procore experience advantageous.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
