The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and ambitious Social Media & SEO Specialist to join a growing marketing team based in Central London. The organisation operates across a portfolio of digital brands, including media platforms and podcast content, engaging a diverse and highly relevant audience.
This presents a fantastic opportunity to create compelling content while improving digital visibility and driving organic growth across multiple channels.
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, stays ahead of digital trends, and has a strong interest in SEO and content performance.
The Role
Reporting to the Events & Operations Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day social media activity alongside supporting SEO strategy and execution. You will develop engaging content, optimise digital platforms, and help grow online audiences in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing daily social media activity across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube and podcast platforms
• Creating, scheduling and publishing engaging content across all channels
• Developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
• Monitoring trends, viral content and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant
• Supporting and participating in content creation, including video, reels and behind-the-scenes material
• Optimising website and digital content using SEO best practices, including keyword research
• Tracking performance metrics and producing insights and reports to inform future strategy
• Engaging with audiences, responding to comments and messages, and building online communities
• Collaborating with the wider marketing team on campaigns, launches and promotions
Essential:
• Previous experience managing social media accounts for a brand or agency
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
• Knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research and content optimisation
• Excellent communication and copywriting skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data
• Experience using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
• Knowledge of social media scheduling and analytics tools
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Desirable:
• Experience creating short-form video content
• Basic photography or video editing skills
• Experience with YouTube, podcasts or media platforms
• Understanding of paid social campaigns and influencer marketing
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
