Financial Services Brand Marketer

I am looking for a Brand Marketer to work at an Investment Broker. The company is based in the heart of the city but in the interim the role will be WFH. The role is to start immediately and is a standalone role

The Role

  • Lead and develop the marketing function across all core marketing disciplines
  • Manage social media outputs across all mediums incl. Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Develop, execute and manage cross-channel marketing campaigns
  • Manage the planning, execution and messaging for all events
  • Maximise use of digital platforms to collect and act upon analytics
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies and content marketing plans
  • Drive brand awareness and visibility across the UK whilst proactively looking at new ways to heighten the brand’s profile
  • Oversee and manage all external communications including digital, print and events
  • Oversee and manage all internal communications and news flow
  • Budget management
  • Liaise with internal departments; develop an understanding of business functions and regional opportunities and work closely with key stakeholders to maximise these
  • Monitor competitors' products/services, explore ways of improving the firms existing products/services using new technologies and/or software
  • Manage website content and internal intranet site
  • Project management

The Person

  • Degree qualification
  • 3+ years proven marketing experience
  • Proven digital marketing experience with ability to efficiently create targeted content
  • Tech savvy – comfortable using technology and finding new technologies / software to heighten the marketing functions’ capabilities
  • Good eye for design / design capabilities – definitely important as this has become more and more key as the function has grown over the past couple of years
  • Digital marketing competencies – an understanding of HTML, how to optimise website, best practices on different platforms (i.e. what file types to use, different digital requirements for different sites etc.)
  • Brand profiling & Brand management – someone who can proactively look at new ways of heightening the brand profile via. Sponsorships etc. also someone who is going to manage the brand image and ensure a consistent representation of the brand using brand guidelines
