Job Title: Account Executive (Private Clients Insurance)  £26,000 - £40,000

Our client is a leading insurance broker specialising in personal lines coverage for private clients. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions to our valued customers.

Position Overview: As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing a busy client portfolio of renewals. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain strong relationships with our private clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively. Our client is looking for Account Executives and Account Managers at all levels, so if you have a minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance or you’re a fully-fledged Personal Lines Account Manager, and have a passion for client service, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:
  • Client Portfolio Management:
    • Handle renewals for private clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
    • Proactively address client inquiries, concerns, and requests.
    • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and coverage adjustments.
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing client base.
    • Participate in business development activities to attract new private clients.
    • Attend industry events and networking functions to expand your professional network.
  • Risk Assessment and Analysis:
    • Evaluate clients’ insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
    • Analyse risk exposures and provide customised solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in personal lines insurance (private clients preferred).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in insurance software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CIP, CRM) are a plus.
  • You will be comfortable working in a busy sales environment and happy working to deadlines and will work proactively with the expedient processing of insurance applications through to legal compliance.
  • You are a team player, both with your peers and the brokers with whom you work.
