THE COMPANY:
My client based in the education sector is looking for a temporary HR Advisor to join the team on a temporary base for 3 months.
THE ROLE:
- To build and maintain effective working relations with managers and staff.
- To support in developing and manage policies and procedures and design job descriptions for job evaluation.
- To be an active member of the HR team, attending and participating in meetings as appropriate.
- In conjunction with the HRBP ensure that Faculties and Support areas are provided with recruitment and workforce reports to facilitate effective management of workforce matters.
- To maintain effective HR records and ensure case work is accurately recorded.
- In conjunction with the HRBP, advise managers on appropriate recruitment, ED&I, L&D and Reward initiatives.
- To work with Managers to design and develop Personal Development Plans for their staff.
- To support the HRBP in executing the College appraisal process.
- To support and assist the Head of HRBP on all operational aspects of change management/organisational development issues arising within the College.
- Provide support for preparing for Employment Tribunal cases.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
THE PERSON:
- To adhere to the College's Single Equality Scheme with respect to staff and students.
- To comply with and implement the College’s Health and Safety policy.
- To undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the HR Department.
- 2+ years in an HR Advisor role within education
