HR Advisor

£14 to £17 per hour




My client based in the education sector is looking for a temporary HR Advisor to join the team on a temporary base for 3 months.


  1. To build and maintain effective working relations with managers and staff.
  1. To support in developing and manage policies and procedures  and design job descriptions for job evaluation.
  1. To be an active member of the HR team, attending and participating in meetings as appropriate.
  1. In conjunction with the HRBP ensure that Faculties and Support areas are provided with recruitment and workforce reports to facilitate effective management of workforce matters.
  1. To maintain effective HR records and ensure case work is accurately recorded.
  1. In conjunction with the HRBP, advise managers on appropriate recruitment, ED&I, L&D and Reward initiatives.

  1. To work with Managers to design and develop Personal Development Plans for their staff.

  1. To support the HRBP in executing the College appraisal process.
  1. To support and assist the Head of HRBP on all operational aspects of change management/organisational development issues arising within the College.
  1. Provide support for preparing for Employment Tribunal cases.
  1. Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures




  • To adhere to the College's Single Equality Scheme with respect to staff and students.
  • To comply with and implement the College’s Health and Safety policy.
  • To undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the HR Department. 

  • 2+ years in an HR Advisor role within education
