Receptionist / Junior Administrator
Temp to Perm (initial temp term 6 months)


Our client is a global independent construction, property and management consultancy.

The role will be responsible for a range of support, with key tasks being:

  • Greet company employees and external visitors
  • Ensure visitors receive a high-end service
  • Manage and book visitors, contractors, and deliveries onto the buildings visitor system
  • Management of meeting rooms, including bookings, pre-ordering lunches, preparing refreshments, clearing, and replenishing rooms after meetings
  • Ensure the reception area and meeting rooms are always kept immaculate and presentable
  • Use of telephone system for the routing of external and internal calls, ensuring all messages are passed to the appropriate person
  • Use of Outlook mail and diary system
  • Ensure kitchen and bar area is fully stocked with refreshments and snacks
  • Ensure kitchen is kept tidy and presentable throughout the day
  • Ensure office supplies are fully stocked and order where necessary
  • Maintenance of the staff log in/out system, ensuring staff use
  • Sorting incoming mail and distribution to team secretaries
  • Processing and franking post for collection by Royal Mail
  • Booking local and international couriers
  • Receive and manage housekeeping deliveries
  • Assist the with the smooth running of the office, facilities, repairs, services
  • Assist with management of H&S items
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Office Operations Manager and wider teams

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence.

  • Preferably min 2 years’ experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in outlook
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to use own initiative as well as be part of a team
  • Customer focussed approach
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A high standard of personal presentation
  • A “can do” attitude
