Litigation Secretary Job Details
COMPANY BACKGROUND: high-quality, commercial law firm with expertise in specific business sectors.
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The primary role of a legal secretary at this Firm is to provide direct support to his/her fee earners to
enable them to operate at optimum efficiency; this includes but is not limited to the main
responsibilities listed below. In addition, a high degree of self-management and initiative is expected.
The role will involve:
Working for 3 busy fee earners (including a Partner);diary management as well as audio typing, filing of emails (electronic and paper filing);
covering reception from time to time during breaks, when required;
working for a claims manager as well: setting up lunches, diary management and putting together brochures for tenders (this is in conjunction with our marketing department).
Trained in legal practice.
High word processing and audio-typing skills.
Previous experience as a legal secretary
