Team Assistant for leading Consultancy Job Details
An international Management Consultancy is now looking for an exceptional Team Secretary to work in its offices in the City within their Investment Practice.
This role offers very varied responsibilities plus an excellent career path within a well known and respected international company.
-Scheduling meetings and maintaining manager`s calendar in such a way that he/she makes the best use of time
-Gathering and preparing all documents for meetings in adequate time
-Arranging catering facilities for meetings
-Organising all travel and accommodation and preparing tickets and route maps where appropriate
-Building working relationship with your manager`s client(s), and assisting where possible
-Assisting manager on ad hoc projects
-Where permitted, maintaining manager`s e-mail
-Striving to develop an awareness of services offered by your own section through your involvement in work based training, by reading internal publications and consulting colleagues
-Completing expense and Amex logs accurately and within the guidelines of the firm
-Performing billing tasks
-Passing telephone calls on effectively and efficiently, taking detailed messages and full telephone details, where appropriate
-Maintaining a flexible approach and attitude towards assisting others
-Planning and organising work effectively
To be considered for this role, you will have previous secretarial experience, ideally within a corporate environment. You will be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), with a minimum grade C in English. You will have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes. You will have accurate typing skills, ideally with a minimum typing speed of 50 wpm. You will be a strong team player, with good organisational and communication skills. You will have good attention to detail, and be able to work effectively within a time pressurised environment
