Facilities Officer - 3 month contract - £38,000 (max, pro rata)

THE COMPANY:
Our client: A multinational services company are looking for an experienced facilities officer to join them on a 3 month contract. Working in their state of the art offices in the heart of the West End, this company are a dynamic and forward thinking company. This is going to be a truly hands on facilities officer position that will see you joining an already established and friendly team in a role that will offer a huge amount of variety and challenges.

THE ROLE:
- Day-to-day supervision of catering, cleaning, stationery and newspapers contracted services ensuring that all services are provided to suitable standards and that end users needs are met in line with business requirements
- Maintain HS&E, CARs, Risk Assessment registers and have day-to-day responsibility for HS&E activities relating to the office environment
- Develop and maintain Facilities Management policies and procedures
- Prepare timely and accurate scopes of work for services relating to supervised contracts and other services, as required
- Assist Facilities Team Leader in the creation and monitoring of operational and capital expenditure budgets relating to supervised contracts, as well as pre-empting and identifying non-budgeted expenditure
- Assist Facilities Team Leader in managing space planning and co-ordination of office churns and relocations

THE PERSON:
- Detailed working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Systems
- Extensive knowledge of relevant Health & Safety and Statutory Regulations
- Experience of a broad spectrum of FM services
- Experience of preparing budgets and monitoring expenditure
- Proven experience in a similar role as a facilities officer within a Corporate/Professional services environment
- Ability to work under pressure and keep calm
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise
- Ability to work unsupervised and on one`s own initiative
- Ability to provide a client focused service
- Good presentation and telephone manner
- Smart and professional in appearance
- First class communication skills
